Fleece or Leather for winter?

When it comes to staying warm in cold temperatures, we don`t usually think twice about what wraps our body with warmth. As long as our jacket does the job we are completely satisfied in most cases. However, the debate between Fleece jackets and Leather Jackets will go on forever. Does it really matter as long as you stay toasty?

Let`s take a look at the advantages of owning a fleece jacket and a leather jacket. First, the fleece jacket is made up of a super soft material, like polyester. It doesn`t really itch, but definitely keeps the cold air out and off the skin. There are a variety of different fleece jackets to choose from, so get the right one for you this winter.

So this leaves us with the famous but not forgotten leather jacket. Leather jackets are made up of mostly rawhide, or cowhide(whichever you prefer), and can hold up in the toughest of temperatures. Leather is durable and in my opinion, will last longer than fleece will. Natural material like leather, are just what they are "natural". Animal material is a tough and rugged as it gets.

No matter what your preference is fleece or leather, keep this advice in mind when buying your winter jacket this season. It will go a long way in keeping you warm.
