What to look for in a well crafted leather jacket
With fall almost here, I thought it would be nice to mention a few things on what exactly is a well built leather jacket. Why buy a jacket that is only going to rip, tear, and fade after a season of two. We all want to save money nowadays, and there isn`t a thing in the world wrong with that.
So how do you find that elusive leather jacket that will last for as long as you`d like? Do your research and things will come easy while you are looking. Jackets that are made out of cow or sheep are most ordinary, but not necessarily the finest on the market.
The most sought after is lamb leather, and for numerous reasons. It`s lighter and is more comfortable to wear. It gives off fewer scratches on the material, and is one of the most durable materials available. This is why so many seek lambskin jackets for "cooler occasions".
You also need to look at all of the final touches that a manufacturer puts on theirleather jackets. You know-zippers, buttons, the detail stitching, and the overall grade of craftsmanship. If it looks cheap as in string coming apart and it hasn`t even left the store, I would say negative!
Don`t get ripped off this year when looking for your fall or winter coat. Your money is valuable enough, shouldn`t your leather jacket be as well?
