Shift Racing Octane Leather Jacket

Whether you ride a bike or not, this motorcycle leather jacket is definitely stylin. Shift Racing went all out with this jacket and has produced something of great quality and sterling looks. They gave it the name Octane, and the name definitely fits.

Shift is the company that Fox (famous in Motocross) created to design and sell motocross-oriented apparel. Every product they make is especially suited to the motorcycle rider and the Octane jacket is no exception.

This leather jacket expertly integrates (and styles around or hides) all the protective equipment a street rider needs: CE armor, KorMax stretch Aramid panels, premium-grain leather, and memory foam components. Some great elements like the jersey knit liner, ventilation holes, accordion panels for flexibility, and more make this a truly comfortable and protective motorcycle jacket. None of this robs it of any style, though.

The detachable full-sleeve liner makes this jacket great for colder weather riding. Strategically placed KorMax Aramid panels and external accordian panels on the elbows keep this liner from causing the leather to “ride up.” That's a common concern with full-jacket liners and is no issue here. At the back of the jacket are two zippers, both for attaching compatible pants (also made by Shift) in either 10” or 26” cuffs, depending on your preference. A great addition, especially with the stretch Lycra that allows for ease of movement when pants are attached.

Overall, this jacket is both stylish, enduring, and very well-built. No rider can find anything better than this to ad to their street gear.
