The Indiana Jones Leather Jacket
Since the early 1900's leather jackets have been used by aviators in World War I. These jackets were warm and light weight, that made the jacket perfect for the Biplane Pilots that didn't have the today's enclosed cockpits. The American bomber and fighter pilots also wore the jackets in World War II.
Indy is not the only adventurer to wear a leather jacket with a fedora. Charlton Heston wore this same style jacket in Secret of the Incas.
Harrison Ford who is the handsome actor that put this style of leather jacket back on the most wanted list for the die hard adventurer. Before the filming of the Raiders of the lost ark the jacket had to be aged with Harrison Ford's pocket knife and a wire brush.
The Indy jacket has two adjustment straps on the backside that can be used to draw in it's pleated back at the waist. Featuring a zipper closure and double entry front pockets with hidden side entry. Inside there are two pockets, a side chest pocket as well as a gun/mapp pocket, it also has a cell phone pouch.
