Harley Davidson Jackets
Since the early 1900's Harley Davidson have been making their footprint in motorcycle history by making one of the best line of "Iron Horses" in America. The Harley Davidson name is known worldwide as an icon of freedom on the open road. 
The motorcycle jackets were an obvious necessity after production of motorcycles as well as leather saddlebags and other accessories. Initially, there was a trench coat style to the riding jackets. From there multiple companies realized there was a booming market for men’s motorcycle jackets.
Motorcycle leather began with a short aviator style jacket made from goatskins that hugged them at the waist. This waist was helpful in keeping the cool air off you on a cool ride. From a Detroit manufacturer came the ‘Ranger’ motorcycle leather jacket. Even in this early day, they did not forget the women riders who had a ‘Rangerette’ motorcycle leather jacket available to them.
Harley began to tap into the leather clothing and accessories in the 40’s with the ‘Cycle Champ’ men’s motorcycle jackets. They made a women’s motorcycle leather jacket called the ‘Cycle Queen’ that was popular. After these Harley produced the ‘Pistol Pocket’ design that included a back pocket, you could reach through a zipper in the left lapel. Even after this, Marlon Brando made the double-breasted biker leather motorcycle jackets design popular when he war the One Star in his movie “The Wild Ones”.
Bikers to rockers and many others wanted the “bad boy” look of the biker styles of generations. Even today, motorcycle leather is popular with many biker men and women that want to not only protect themselves but look great too and Harley leather jackets are some of the most popular.
